What should I expect from a session?
Each session begins with a posture analysis identifying areas of concern. We identify misalignments in the body, and determine the key areas to focus on during the session.
The rolfing process lengthens and manipulates connective tissue through manual techniques. Clients experience a sense of relief through the release of tension, particularly in areas experiencing tightness. A session will address the entire body, while focusing on specific target areas.
After a session, people experience a sensation of breathing easier, better balance, less tension, feeling straighter, taller and more “open”.
How often do I need treatment?
The closer the session are in succession, the more you will notice the results. If you want to experience quicker results, 10 sessions once a week is ideal. After the 10 session program, we provide “tune ups” usually monthly to maintain the benefits.
Additionally, we offer mini 3 or 5 session programs 6 months after the 10 session series has been completed.
